How Would you Perform if You had the ‘Expo’?

Imagine you are preparing for an examination and you have the question and answer ahead of the examination.

What type of result would you get?

If you still don’t pass the examination, what kind of person would you be called?

We all know about the 2nd coming of Christ and we are all preparing to meet Him.

We know there is going to be judgement and we also know that we are being judged against His words. For example, the word says Love your neighbour as yourself, at the point of judgement, we will be evaluated against this word standard- do i truly love my neighbour as myself.

Our situation as Christians then is like someone who is preparing for an examination, knows the question and has the marking scheme, not just the answer (the word of God).

The big question is; how will I perform if I face the judgement seat now?

The Bible instructs us on how we should live our lives based on God’s word. That is the ‘expo’ of life. We also know that we are going to be asked questions based on the word.

The following questions are worthy of consideration especially as it relates to our work;

1. Am I faithful and diligent in my workplace?
2. Do I love my colleagues as my self?
3. Do I relate with my boss as if I am working for God?
4. Do I use honest weight at work or in my business in dealing with people
5. Am I slack in my responsibilities?
6. Do I keep malice with colleagues?
7. Do I have the spirit of anger?
8. Do I honour those who have authority over me?
9. Am I bearing fruit in that place of work for the kingdom?

All the above questions have biblical references and if we are being judged by the word of God, it means we are going to be held accountable in these listed areas.

Whoever rejects Me and refuses to accept My teachings, has one who judges him; the very word that I spoke will judge and condemn him on the last day.”
‭‭John‬ ‭12:48‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Since we know this that the word of God judges us, should the judgement be against us when the time comes as we have the marking scheme?

A candidate that fails an examination after seeing the question and having the answer may be regarded as a fool.
May we not wear this tag at the end.

God bless you.
