In a gathering sometimes ago, I was asked what excites me. My response seemed to have shocked the audience.
I said when I see someone stuck in his/her career. It appeared to some that I was a wicked person as the question was how can I be happy when someone has a problem?
I said, it is my job to help them see the light and get unstucked.
When I help people realise that they have been the only individual holding them back from what they want, I am excited
When I work with them to co-create the way forward, I am happy
When they see what is stopping them and the expression on their faces brighten up, I am enliven
When they finally get what they want, I am fulfilled.
